Lynn N. Hughes
United States District Judge

Lynn N. Hughes is a United States District Judge. Judge Hughes was co-chairman of the Council during 1999-2000. He advised the European Union, Moldavia, Ukraine, Albania, Romania, and Belarus on constitutional organization and privatization. Judge Hughes is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Anthropological Association. Since 1980, he has been an advisor to the Houston Journal of International Law. Judge Hughes taught as an adjunct professor of law for 32 years. He serves on the advisory board of the Law & Economics Center of George Mason University’s Law School in Virginia.
