The World Affairs Council of Houston is pleased to announce Chevron’s Portrait of the World workshops for educators. During the 2009-2010 academic year, Chevron will sponsor full-day workshops on Mexico, China, Argentina, and West Africa.
Through these professional development workshops, teachers will study historical and current economic, political, and cultural issues and will return to the classroom with up-to-date instructional resources and lesson plans. Content and curriculum is useful for the secondary and college level.
The State Board of Educator Certification has approved the World Affairs Council to furnish Continuing Professional Education to teachers.The Council is CPE 501096. We are not permitted to duplicate G/T certificates. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
