It's hard to find anything to laugh about in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The on-going exchange of rockets, the split of the Palestinian government, and the border crisis have added another layer of complexity to stalled peace negotiations.

And yet a group of four Arab and Israeli comedians have come together to promote peace through comedy.

Palestinian and Israeli comedians on the same stage. Pointing fingers at themselves and each other and instead of blaming-they are laughing. It's never been done before. And hopefully it won't be the last time.

Charley Warady is the co-founder of the Israeli-Palestinian Comedy Tour. He headlined in comedy clubs across the United States, appearing on NBC and Comedy Central, before immigrating to Israel ten years ago. He has performed in Israel as part of the Off The Wall comedy series, targeting regional life and politics.

Ray Hanania is an award-winning journalist, peace activist, and author. Hanania co-founded the Israeli-Palestinian Comedy Tour in November 2006 with Charley Warady to help confront growing animosity between Israelis and Palestinians, Jews and Arabs.

Aaron Freeman is a standup comedian, popular columnist, and radio commentator. His views on being a black, Jewish convert have made him a hit all across America. A veteran of Second City theatre, Freeman often offers his insights on NPR's "All Things Considered."

Yisrael Campbell is an Orthodox Jew who was born Catholic. He has performed his one-man show, "It's Not In Heaven" all over the world.

"Difference of opinion leads to enquiry, and enquiry to truth; and that, I am sure, is the ultimate and sincere object of us both. We both value too much the freedom of opinion sanctioned by our Constitution, not to cherish its exercise even where in opposition to ourselves."
