Layne E. Kruse
Fulbright & Jaworski 

Layne Kruse is a partner in the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. and co-chairs the firm's nationwide Antitrust, Marketing, and Trade Regulation Practice Group. He also is a member of the firm's Policy Committee and Litigation Committee. Layne handles business litigation and arbitration matters. He has been a first-chair litigator for jury trials, nationwide class actions, injunctions, arbitrations and appeals, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He is certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization He has represented clients in oil and gas production, the marketing of refined petroleum products, health care, insurance, publishing, consumer products, computers, rail transportation, and other industries. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, a M.Sc. in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Layne and his wife have been married for over thirty-one years and have five children.
