Antony M. DSouza is a mechanical engineer by profession and currently the General Manager of Det Norske Veritas heading their offshore classification business in Regions North America and Caribbean. He is an Australian National and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, UK and the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
DSouza has more than 23 years of experience in managing mega projects building/construction of infrastructure related to Oil & Gas, Offshore, Power Generation, and Pollution Control and Alternative Energy applications apart from working as a consultant implementing Company Management Systems. He has a wide international experience in business and technical management and has either lived, worked or visited several countries in almost all the continents of the world.
DSouza has a Masters Degree in Engineering Management and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has served in the Executive Board of the Singapore Institute of Engineering Technologists while living in Singapore in late nineties. DSouza had served in various capacities in individual development and nongovernmental organizations e.g., United Nations Youth Organization, Indian Junior Chamber and has a greater interest in public service. He frequently visits India as a visiting professor for lectures in colleges and universities in India on globalization and business related topics.
