Mike Benjamin has recently been appointed International Clients Directors for Schlumberger Oilfield Services based in Houston, were he overseas the Sales and Business Development activities for Schlumberger US customers with operations abroad. His previous assignment was VP of Marketing, Schlumberger Information Solutions, based in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, he served as Director of Recruiting, Training and Employee Development for Schlumberger worldwide based in Paris, France. Before his assignment in Paris, Benjamin was Vice-President for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, in New Orleans where he was responsible for managing a multi-disciplined workforce of more than 1800 employees across the Gulf of Mexico. Benjamin's 22-year career with Schlumberger began in Wyoming as a field engineer. His long career has provided him with the opportunity to live in many interesting places throughout the US and the world which include Indonesia, and Venezuela.
Benjamin served on the board of Junior Achievement in New Orleans, the Schlumberger Foundation and is currently the chairman of the board for Energistics. Benjamin received a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
