Colin McHattie has worked in the petroleum industry for ConocoPhillips for 30 years in a variety of technical and commercial roles, and is currently Manager of Business Development for Heavy Oil in the Technology Group. He has spent the past 13 years evaluating and developing new upstream business opportunities in most parts of the world in the gas, LNG, oil, and GTL business.
McHattie spent the first 17 years of his career in exploration and production offices as a geologist and petrophysicist, after having graduated from the University of Western Australia in Perth with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology.
