Maz Jobrani is a founding member of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour.  He is not afraid to address controversial topics, using humor to help the western audience understand some of the societal issues that confront the Middle East today.  Jobrani has performed all over the world, and is on tour with Maz Jobrani: Brown and Friendly.

Jobrani has done standup comedy on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has also starred in movies like The Interpreter opposite Sean Penn and has been a guest on TV shows such as The West Wing and 24.  Jobrani was born in Iran and raised in the San Francisco Bay area where he studied theatre throughout high school.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and Italian from the University of California at Berkeley.  

This program is open to young professionals only.

Maz Jobrani will perform March 4 – 6 at Houston’s Improv Comedy Club.
